THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN LEARNING, EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Abstract

The article proves the need of using the international standards and the best world practices for development of the industry of e-learning and modernization of Russian education. The attention is focused on the need of further development of legislative base and creation of a complex of the national standards harmonized with fundamental international standards and considering specifics of Russian education.
