METHODICAL MAINTENANCE
The article considers the actual question about informatics and information technologies classifi cation. There are the hegemony information technologies over the information sciences and two modern methods of classifi cation: “habitatual” and “conceptual-criterial” method. On the basis of the last the article calls attention to example for classifi cation of science’s nomenclature of VAK.
The article deals with methodology for description of scientifi c and educational services in education and information on the basis of interoperability stack EIF (European Interoperability Framework). The passage describes operation factors to depict services on every level of the methodology, tools used to describe the services and the content. We also provide the link between methodology of description with the life span of the service. The article presents an example of service description according to the methodology considering the current education and professional standards, ITIL recommendations, ontology on the OWL basis and WSDL-description.
The article considers features of the various stages of formation of management decisions implementing the process of self-synchronization.
EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
The article describes an unusual possibility to use animation to study numerical methods for solving mathematical problems. Animation is defi ned not only and not so much as the creation of animation clips, but direct «revival» of the results of the implementation of numerical methods for solving mathematical problems on your computer
NEW TECHNOLOGIES
In this article the authors review the using of graphical passwords for authentication. The main advantage of this authentication is the users friendly approach. However, with multiple browsing of the logon session, the attacker can see and understand the password. To avoid this drawback, the authors recommend to use dynamic graphical passwords. On three examples of dynamic graphical authentication article demonstrates how with user-friendly, graphical password can be stable.
The article describes problems in automated students testing using open-form questions with substantial amount of correct answers. Authors propose using of regular expressions as correct answer patterns. The problem of automatic hint generation during training tests is examined as well. To resolve this problem authors propose a matching string generation method, extending partial match from learner’s attempt. It is possible to give next correct character and next correct lexeme hints. The paper describes a solution in the form of a question type plugin for the popular e-learning system Moodle.
EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT
An approach to synthesizing basic requirements for information-educational spaces (IES) is presented basing on defi ning sources of their fundamental attributes. Ontologies for IES’s conceptual context and architectural models of IES are introduced as the foundation for the method of the IES fundamental attributes defi ning. The main principle of the method is selection of attributes inherited in IES via links with high-level concepts adjacent in context ontologies.
The article presents the approach of leveling of the main drawbacks of online learning systems associated with diffi culties of objective monitoring of students’ knowledge. This method is based on the integration of the module that combines neural networks and genetic algorithms in the education system architecture with a goal of better examining of incomplete and inaccurate data. There are described the results of this method, which rises e-learning services to a new level of automation, agility and dynamism.
RUSSIAN AND FOREIGN EXPERIENCE
In the article the authors considered a model of e-learning organization in a classical university. The article defines main stages of this process in light of modern tendencies in e-learning. It presents introduction of e-learning system to educational practice of a large university as a long and complex process which requires a comprehensive approach in its organization that includes several stages.
The Russian system of education is undergoing a process of modernization where ICT play a decisive role. It presupposes not only providing advanced technical equipment but also integrating technologies into a traditional teaching and learning process based on a well-developed and scholarly-proven methodology. A sound didactic solution is the introduction of an element of e-learning for structuring and monitoring students’ autonomous active study.
A lecture course in a traditional format can be transformed into a mode of blended learning via combining classroom face-to-face teaching with students’ self-preparation in an interactive learning environment to enhance the efficacy the educational process. An experience of such a transformation is considered.
The paper is intended to draw attention to information communication technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language at a primary stage of learning. In this regard the educational process of teaching Russian as a foreign language is examined for promoting quality improvement in the process of RLT. Technology-enhances language learning(TELL) is described through computer – assisted language learning(CALL) – presentations,computer-mediated communication (CMC) or on-line communication(e-mails), the Internet sites and virtual learning environments(VLEs) – the University resources. Authors share their best practices of using ICT in teaching and describe their experience with foreign students of pre-university department of MESI, and present their own tactics and strategies of teaching.
ПРОБЛЕМЫ ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ
E-learning technologies application in corporate sector has been the feature of human resources training and development of the last decade. The emerging during last few years new, more accessible and simplifi ed means and formats of knowledge transfer (webinars, MOOCs, social learning) have signifi cantly widen the facilities of corporate e-learning and allow their successful application at the correlated HR-processes.
